Free WiFi was great, I could Instagram all my hostel adventures! They have bike and car hire, I guess it's good for sporty people, not me. Oh, and the dining area was so fancy, I felt like a queen!
Such a shame I couldn't lock my room, but hey, who needs privacy anyway? My personal fan made up for the lack of fresh air, but the mouse in the locker was a delightful surprise.

The owner of the hostel was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. He even offered to take me to the bus station and helped me navigate the local area. the location of the hostel was great, with shops, restaurants, and the bus station nearby. It was convenient for exploring the city and finding everything I needed.
The cleanliness of the hostel was not up to my standards. the room was not very clean, and I encountered some unwelcome guests like ants and a mouse.

I had a fantastic time at Kingfisher Hostel. During my stay, the owner was incredibly helpful and gave me great advice on visiting Mihintale, which turned out to be an amazing experience. Renting bikes from the hostel was also very convenient for exploring the town. The friendly atmosphere and affordable prices made it a worthwhile choice.
One downside was that the room lacked a window, so it was a bit stuffy and I couldn't get fresh air easily. Also, the bathroom could have been cleaner.

Cheapest place ever! The owner is a super friendly and helpful guy who made me feel so welcome. The beds are massive and incredibly comfortable, and each one has its own fan. I met the nicest people during my stay, and the location is super convenient, close to the bus station. not the best place I've stayed, but for the price, it was mind-blowingly good! Plus, free Wi-Fi, an off-site car park. They even have a VIP check-in/out service and offer cycling rentals. The luggage storage and locker room kept my belongings secure, and with 24-hour reception and security, I felt safe throughout my stay. No pets allowed, but who needs them when this place is this awesome!

The beds were super comfortable, the dorm room had curtains for privacy, and each bed had its own fan. The location was convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the train station, and there were spacious lockers available for keeping my belongings safe. The dining room had everything I needed, including a fridge, stove, and tea maker. highly recommended for backpackers!
